A friendly, intelligent neighbour is willing to talk with me about what’s going on. For a long time, I have been stopping to chat with him and his wife and two adorable kids when I walk my dog. They love my dog. My neighbour is firmly in Covidland. I’m outside, watching the total annihilation of all that is free and true in life. Only recently have we started talking about what’s happening in the world.
“I can accept masks because, if you cough or sneeze, you project droplets that could affect other people,” he said.
This is the logical fallacy of begging the question, In other words, so what? It’s not just by coughing or sneezing, but by breathing, that you expel air that has been in your lungs and olfactory system.
We come back to asymptomatic transmission, a condition that was invented, with no empirical evidence, in 2020 and that applies uniquely to the alleged virus, SARS-CoV-2. If you’re sick, stay home. Otherwise, what are you supposed to be shedding on other people? This obvious, ancient and eternal truth was pointed out when masks were first recommended in 2020; before they were mandated and before people started to fear other humans as vectors of disease. What a psyop it has been!
But, if you don’t have the patience to read a pile of boring scientific journal articles (and I don’t blame you), then just look at the obvious experiment that is taking place before us every day.
Hockey, basketball, and football players. Take the professional class of athletes who are performing on television screens every night and day. They are breathing heavily, spitting, horking, and spewing in each other’s faces for the entire game. No masks. Obscene intimate contact. Face to face.
If asymptomatic transmission were a thing, they should all be laid up in bed all the time. And not just since covid was invented, but for all the history of influenza and cold viruses. Contact sports should never have got off the ground. (For visitors to Covidland, the “vaccine” manufacturers stipulate that these products do not stop infection or transmission of the alleged virus. So, vaccination status, governed by vaccine mandates, would have no effect on the players’ vulnerability to the virus. Neither would meaningless PCR and lateral-flow tests. All this makes a mockery of the NHL’s complex covid protocols.)
Masks are meaningless. People in Covidland are believing in them for their own reasons.
In the case of my friendly neighbour, I suspect he’s looking for a reason to accept the outrage that his children are forced to wear masks at school to the detriment of their health. (I am sympathetic; what a dilemma parents have been forced into.) It’s easier to just latch on to any old argument than to face what’s happening. But, once you enter Covidland through that door, it’s hard to get out.
When smart people, like my neighbour, offer such silly arguments to explain their compliance, you can only guess what’s really motivating them. Fear, mostly, I think. But not fear of a virus; fear of the power behind this global take-over and what it means. I suspect everyone still in Covidland is aware of it at some level of their subconscious.
